App Store Guideline 4.3

Guideline 4.3 is Apple's spam rule: apps that are too similar to other apps on the store or in your developer account may be rejected. For bulk publishers, 4.3 is often triggered by shared Swift/Objective-C architecture — not just similar icons.

Definition

App Store Review Guideline 4.3 (Design: Spam) prohibits apps that duplicate content or functionality, create multiple similar apps without sufficient differentiation, or manipulate store discovery. Apple may apply it at the app level or across your entire developer portfolio.

How apporig helps

Structural similarity analysis across your iOS catalog surfaces COPY and RELATED modules before submission — so you rewrite code, not just resubmit the same binary with new screenshots.
